Thanks Rod, I exported an Autoindex file and that worked just fine.
Thanks for the feedback on Bluehost Matthew. I had a look at their site and it seems pretty good. In the end I migrated by server back to GoDaddy as I have my domaine name with them and I'd used them before I went over to BC with a Muse built site and I was happy with the scustomer service in particular. Hopefully their reputation hasn't changed.
So far I seem to cruising along the set up trouble free - thanks to your detailed notes.
However just run into a confusing zone. I would appreciate if you could bear with me a second and just clear up this point.
I have just changed the password of the API key in the ttg-be Publisher. On authenticating the API key in LR I get the message
I changed the settings to 777 and then looked at my set up in Filezilla asking myself where is the Galleries folder LR can't find?
My question is, should I either create another folder to sit up top in the public.html folder or is LR reffering to the gallery folder I earlier uploaded from LR into Templates. After copying the settings to an AutoIndex file I called this file 'My Gallery Frame'.
I hope my muddled mind has made this somewhat clear?
Many thanks!
I've been trying to get my ttg-be up and running all morning. I said I wouldn't post on here until I've read everything about this. I just got off a 1 to 1 with customer support for Adobe Business Catalyst where my Muse site is hosted (as it was free!), to be politely informed that BC does not support .php
This is appently why I could not get access to the admin file after having uploaded it via FTP. Unless someone knows a workaround to this, I guess I cannot use Publisher (or Autoindex?) on a BC hosted server. I'm well and truely stumped!
Suppose the next step might be to look for a cheap hosting platform for the EU.
Thanks Matthew. I just purchased Gallery, Auto-Index and Publisher yesterday evening. I didn't get the bundle as this way the less I have to install the less I'm likely to screw up..in theory!
I'll check out those links too. Thanks for that.
Out of curiosity, I noticed in Gallery and AutoIndex there is a zip file for the previous CE3 versions. Do they have to be installed also?
Thanks for the input guys. Essentially I'm pretty happy with the flexibility of Muse, but hosting Lightroom galleries on the site isn't very good for devices such as mobile phones which is what has lead me in search of something better. From what I have understood the CE4 plugins are adapted for moile phones as well as SEO. The latter part can be quite laborious in Muse when dealing with images and galleries...or so I have found.
I wasn't really aware of what the indexing plugin did, I'll look into that one.
Thanks again.
Hello, I am currently using a web site that I created with Adobe Muse and I came across a blog post by Terry White about one of your products. Looking at his 'Gallery' section on his website, I found exactly the sort of layout that I'm looking for. He uses Turning Gate plugins on a Muse platform.
What I'm after is like he has it here, http://terrywhitephotography.com/galleries.php with the idea of a main Gallery page based around wedding photography and on each section leading to another page with mutliple galleries on that selected theme.
My question is, can I achieve this using just CE4 Gallery alone or will I need CE4 Publisher also to get the job done?
Thanks for your help.
