#1 Re: CE4 Gallery » CE4 Gallery - download link on large image not working. » 2014-10-22 03:04:41

Matt & Kev, did you you do a separate output for your high-res files and then nest it into the web site somewhere (beside all the other folders?), or does CE4 do this automatically?

I'm having the same issues as you basically, but instead of the download link going to a 404 web page, mine downloads the larger-size photo, but by no means a full-size one.

I have a large image size specified (3000x2000) in the LR Web module under Image Downloads >> Publish Downloadable Image Renditions. Is this the part that specifies the size of the big downloads, or is it something else?

Thanks y'all,

Good Lord. That did it. Thank you!

Maybe the support pages should mention all this joy.

Screen grabs:

Finally, this: "In the Layout Style control pane on the righthand side, you should see the newly installed web engine listed for use." I don't have a Layout Style option. Lightroom 5 says whether the template is HTML or Flash in the left column.

The controls on the righthand side of the web module I see are for customizing whichever template is selected on the left. Please advise.

Yes, it's in the Web Galleries folder.

Neither it nor my old Feedback gallery appear in the Template Browser of the Web Module.

I have restarted LR a couple times.

How do you attach an image to one of these responses? I have a screen grab for you.

Notes: Time to kill this old page http://wiki.theturninggate.net/doku.php?id=installation since there's a new one with Snow Leopard and Mavericks instructions

AND in Chrome, the anti-spam field where you type in 'Lightroom' to submit a response to a forum question doesn't work. It just refreshes the page.

Hello,

I've tried the double-click to install. Nada.

I've tried dragging the .lrwebengine file to the Web Galleries folder. Nada.

I've read endless support posts about the difference between a web engine and Web Template and everything else.

All I know is...After I installed a Feedback gallery a couple years ago, I'd pop into the web module, select it, customize it, and save it.

Now I don't see either my old Feedback gallery or my new CE4 Gallery in said list.

Thank you for your help.
