Hello,

I managed to upgrade from BL1 to BL3, with some help form Matt. Only Lightroom Publishing gives an error:

I already Installed the new LR plugin from Backlight Modules
Check Autentication in the Publisher is OK

<<<<<<<
Plug-in error log for plug-in at: I:\TTG-Publisher.lrplugin

Unable to perform action: uploadRendition
Message: Unexpected error: Call to undefined function exif_read_data() in ImageResizer.php on line 92

Re: Backlight 3 install OK but Lightroom Publish error

Hi Jan, Backlight needs the 'exif' module to be installed. This should be a standard module.  Can you see whether there is a setting in your cPanel to activate this module (somewhere in your PHP settings).  If not then you'll need to ask your host's technical support to enable it.

Re: Backlight 3 install OK but Lightroom Publish error

Hello Ben,

Im afraid this an unknown area for me.
I see in direct admin cpanel that PHP version is set to native and

Overwrite PHP version for domain: jcfotosite.nl using .htaccess
Only select if different PHP version is needed for this domain
is set to
Current PHP version set:  Not set

In this case, you'll need to ask your host's technical support to enable it.

I'm glad to hear that. Errors in something your host had set in the.htaccess?

Re: Backlight 3 install OK but Lightroom Publish error

make sure you’re using the current version of  the TTG Lightroom Publisher plugin (5.0.1)
you can download it from the link near the top of your Backlight Modules page.

Re: Backlight 3 install OK but Lightroom Publish error

Hi Jan, his is another issue for your host to fix. When files are uploaded they are initially saved at a location configured by your host. It is that location or the permissions configured by your host that is causing the error. We have no control over this. All Publisher does is take those files and move them to a location within your website.
