Publication via LR TTG publisher from 2 different LR into one web site

Hi,

I am using Blacklight and publishing images via LR TTG publisher. However I am using different LR catalogs.
I have no problem to published in the Top-level Galleries from different catalogs. But it's seems impossible to do that in a same "album set" :
ex : Top-level Galleries = Galleries
       album set = Corporate
and behind different albums a,b,c  . I would like published a from LR catalog X, and b from LR catlog Y

When you do that you obtain two different album set even their name is the same. You cannot move it using Black light.

What is the solution?

Thank's

JB

Re: Publication via LR TTG publisher from 2 different LR into one web site

Hi John,

Publishing through Lightroom is catalog specific. That means if you create an album set in one catalog, you can't add or remove albums from it using another catalog.

If publishing from Lightroom, the only thing you can do is either publish albums only to the top level galleries folder or create unique album sets for each catalog.

You can, however, publish using Backlight. From your second catalog, export the images you intend to upload. In Backlight, go to Publisher and add an album where ever you want it and upload the images. You will not be able to add or remove images from this album from Lightroom, you'll need to manage it from Backlight.

Thanks’ for your response. My site www.jonhbronces.fr

The solution of publishing through BL is fine.

However, I have not understood how include CAPTION of the slides using this procedure (that’s so easy with TTG publisher). Please let me known some links to do that.  New question : Is it possible to increase the size of the police of character of CAPTION only?)

Another solution, could be to export in one catalog the slides you want to include.

Best regards

Caption are handled the same way as in Lightroom.

Make sure the images have the metadata and when exporting
make sure that the export includes all metadata.
Make sure the template is set up to display metadata where you want it displayed.
Upload images

Yes, with custom css: http://backlight.theturninggate.net/doc … tylesheets

for the thumbnails:

ul.image_metadata li {
	font-size: 1.2em;
}

for the font-size you can use px or em
