Gallery on homepage

On my old site I had a galleria slideshow on the home page. I'fd like something like that on my new site, but then full screen. I enabled the fancybox, but regardless what I try I'll only get a gallery (with square thumbnails, a horror) and no slideshow. If I click I get sort of a slideshow, but not screen wide. I see plenty of sites with full screen slideshow on the homepage. Not sure if they are WP or not. Best would be masonry and when clicked a full screen slideshow...

Re: Gallery on homepage

your site is based on WordPress! Right?
If so, you’ll need to use a plugin for slideshows, the TTG Theme doesn’t support Galleria.
I’ve been using the free version of the NextGEN plugin.

Re: Gallery on homepage

Thanks again

I thought fancybox should be able to do the trick...

Re: Gallery on homepage

It seems to work, but the galley will not go full screen. Probabely the theme. Also it doe not align at the top, but positions in the middle. Stil no idea how. I disabled the gallery from the thema, When I examine the element it seems to be in some kinf of block...

Re: Gallery on homepage

I think it's capable of going full screen (may need paid version). Check out their site for demos
https://www.imagely.com/wordpress-gallery-plugin/

Otherwise, there are a lot of other options out there in the WordPress ecosystem

Re: Gallery on homepage

I'll have a look. But someting is wrong with some settings, sinx ce it works for you (not fell screen but a slideshow within normal boundaries.

I' ll try that first because I think I kind of like NextGEN

Re: Gallery on homepage

I’m mainly using it on my workshops site as a substitute for using Galleria in the old CE4 theme. The slideshows aren’t large, something like 600px wide.
