Galleria slide show without apparent controls ?

I have set up a Galleria inline slide show on my home page with auto play.
The choices for controls are inside or outside, how can I disable them completely ?
I put them outside with everything of the same color as the background, but does not work : I have two small squares appearing inside the photos, same color as the background.

there are options for turning off controls. Play/Pause, Full-screen button, etc. just a bit below the inside/outside option

It could be the right and left arrows, or rather their background, appearing in the photo.

They appear at the beginning for a few seconds, disappear, and then show again when the mouse cursor is inside the photo.

the arrows have foreground and background colors. Try matching those to the background color to hide the arrows. Looks like can ando set them to transparent.

With Galleria (and Theater, it seems) sometimes the changes don't take effect right away. If they don't, clear template cache and browser cache

I did put the arrows foreground and background colors the same as general background, and the controls position to outside, but they appear inside the photo as a square the same color as background, after clearing the browser and template caches.
Why do they appear inside ?

Then I defined the arrows background and foreground as 'no color' (the cross choice) and the background is transparent, ok, but the arrows appear in white.

The cross choice in color is actually the default color chosen in your page template under Color.

To make the arrow colors transparent, use the transparency slider in the color picker.

The background color definition, and the foreground color definition are 100% identical, but the background is transparent and the foreground is white (after several browser and template caches clearing).

the page inspector shows the that arrow color is set to white.

You can export an album template that includes the page template and email that if you like.
I’ll be out the next few hours but will take a look later today.
