We have a functioning installment of Backlight 1 with the Client Response add on as in integral part of our business.
We are planning to upgrade to Backlight 2. But do we need to purchase a new license til the client response add on too?

The short answer is yes. However, if you have purchase the Client Response Add-on for Backlight, then you should have received an email containing upgrade discount code for the Client Response Add-on for Backlight 2. If you did not receive that email, then please email me and I'll get it to you.
