Galleries, icons and other backlight help please

Hi, I am trying to finish building my website, but after searching, reading and experimenting different option stop no avail decided to ask some help please:

This is my "in process" website:http://www.alexojeda.com/

1. When I publish an album from Lightroom, it always goes to the top level galleries, and inside the Client Galleries page. What do I need to do to make each album I publish go to other pages, like Photo Galleries, Fine Art print Galleries, etc? Where do I specify where the album should be?

2. How do I change the Facebook, instagram icons to other icons I like more, the original colored instagram icon for example?

3. Can I change the location of the social media to the footer? How?

4. How do I export and add videos to the Video galleries? So I have a set of several videos there, and then on a click of a button each video will play without leaving the page?

many thanks!

Alex

For Photo and Video Galleries, you have to create separate Lr Publisher instances. In Publisher settings, you can select the respective top-level gallery (eg, photogalleries instead of galleries).

I would use a custom footer using phplugins. This way you can use your desired icons in the footer. I do this on my site.

Re: Galleries, icons and other backlight help please

here's one way to implement a custom footer via phplugins and custom css. it covers both the Okapi and Pangoilin versions of Backlight 1, the code for Pangolin is at the end of the post
