Photo upload

Hi, I am just setting up a Backlight2 site and trying out a few things. I have a problem in as much as I can load photos, one at a time but if I load a batch, a good number, or even all, fail to load. I am doing this through the BL2 Publisher as I do not have Lightroom.

It seems something is overloading but I have no idea what. Any thoughts would be appreciated. File size is under 20MB per photo

Jon

Re: Photo upload

If could be that your hitting php upload limits for your server. You could try editing the php.ini file in the root of your site. You may need to create one first through your hosts c-panel
In the php.ini file look for upload_max_filesize

Re: Photo upload

20MB per photo is massive for Web-display JPGs. The uploader should be used for web-resolution images. If you're trying to post high-resolution images for download, then you should do so via FTP.

Hi Jon, who are you hosting with?  It could be an issue with the file submissions being more frequent than their network settings accept.
