As it is now, the breadcrumbs in this site http://pideja.ca/luc/fr/oeuvres/2bestia … single.php the breadcrumbs stop at the album name. It carries over to the large image display. First, I cannot use the album name in the breadcrumbs to get back to the album when in large image display; also, I'd like the breadcrumb in the large image display to indicate the filename or title of the said large image.
Is this possible?

I don't think it's possible, not without Matt and Ben doing an overhaul.
Just use the close button on the image to get back to the album. And metadata tokens to display the filename.

Actually, you may be able to do what you want by modifying Daniel's solution to adding breadcrumbs to regular pages:

Try using the ttg_single_top hook.
