Need to get rid of "social" or "share" feature

I am trying very hard to get this new system up and running for the first time. I am not a programmer, so I need some help from you kind folks.

I'm in a generated gallery. I click on an image in the thumbnail gallery to get to what I think of as the single image page, where only one large image is displayed. I get some unexpected icons at the top of the page. "Start Slideshow" a small triangle. "Full Screen" a rectangle. "Thumbnails" a grid. And "image/Share Menu" a landscape symbol.

When I went through the setup and the templates, I did not enable or fill in any text in any setup for social or sharing because I do not want it.

However, I cannot find a way to delete it from the page. Entirely delete.
I would not mind if the slideshow feature went away as well, but the sharing and downloading has got to go.

I am afraid this is a dealbreaker for me.

How do I get rid of this entirely?

Thank you for any help you can give!

For the slideshow presentation:

and downloading can be disabled in the album template

Try out the Single Image presentation type then, it has no social sharing icons.
