'This album is protected'

All appeared to go well with designing a new Backlight site. The test site worked perfectly. Migrating from CE4 to Backlight appeared to go well. Until...

Home page: http://galleries.photolens.co.uk/ - all album sets are locked!

Clicking on one produces 'This album is protected'. http://galleries.photolens.co.uk/Photo_Library/Abroad/

This did not happen in CE4. I've never locked any albums on this site.

I have spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out. I've checked every Baklight menu page. The Localiztions page won't let me alter anything.

I've read & re-read the Backlight Documentation.

I've checked the TTG Publisher in LR Publishing Manager. There's no p/w set in the published collection album.

I've ploughed through the forum and no-one else seems to have had this problem.

I've cleared my browser cache.

Looking at the settings for an album set: http://galleries.photolens.co.uk/backli … m&p1=42094 p/w is not enabled!

Neither the admin nor guest u/n & p/w are accepted!

Suggestions please.

[Test site: http://photographer.photolens.co.uk/]

Don't bother answering yet. I've found that looking at the settings for an album set in 'features' p/w is enabled!

Re: 'This album is protected'

Hi David, that is really odd.  I have not encountered albums or sets becoming protected, other than by marking them as such in the album/album set settings.  Can you provide me with a Backlight admin login, via my Email, below, so that I can look further into this?

Check the album sets in Lightroom. Make sure that under the Features tab, password protection has been disabled.

Aargh! Sorry to put you through answering. I've just added a sentence to my post: I've found that looking at the settings for an album set in 'features' p/w is enabled!

Cheers Rod - we must have got there at the same time!

Re: 'This album is protected'

What a pain! Not only has every album set gained password protection, but every album set contained within!!

Re: 'This album is protected'

I can remember that happening before, but it's been a long time, back in the CE4 days. I don't recall the exact circumstances, it might have been after applying an update to CE4 Auto Index....
Anyway, your problem triggered a vague memory....

first time seeing this with Backlight though
