Missing 'Pages'

I've taken the plunge and bought Backlight + Pages package.

I've created my first test album. So far so good.

At the 'creating pages' stage the instructions are 'In the Backlight menu, select Designer ⇒ Pages '. The trouble is, in 'Designer' there is no 'Pages'.

Presumably I'm supposed to be doing this via FTP on the server.

I've checked the WinZip folder [Backlight-Pages-123-Release4.zip, 3399 KB] and there is no mention of 'pages' anywhere.

As it is usually me who has missed something, what am I doing wrong, please?

Re: Missing 'Pages'

After unzipping the Backlight-Pages-123-Release4.zip you should see this inside the unzipped folder:

backlight/
galleries/
TTG-Publisher.lrplugin
.htaccess
index.php
readme.txt

the .htaccess and index.php files are there if you have the Backlight+Pages combo.
(if you see index.php but not .htaccess, you'll need to change your folder settings to show hidden files -- you can Google how to do this for your operating system)

inside of the backlight/ folder is the modules/ folder
Inside of the modules/ folder you should have a folder named module-pages

Can you confirm this?

If it's there, make sure that it's also on the server inside of the /backlight/modules/ folder.

Re: Missing 'Pages'

Just to clarify, you're not seeing the pages link in the Designer drop-down menu?

designer-pages.jpg

Or in the Quicklinks section of the Designer dashboard?
