Publishing changes filename - Why?

Hi all,

I've set up a template and added it to ttg-be/templates/gallery in my site. When i publish all my file names nave a _v1 next to them. This is an issue when i need to copy the client response section numbers into LR to fine images and make a new gallery.

Anyone know where in the settings this will be changing my published file names? (preferably in CRG)

Cheers
Mikel

This happens when using virtual copies.

Re: Publishing changes filename - Why?

As Daniel says. And this naming -- and all inconsistencies that ensue from it -- are native to Lightroom, and not something performed by or repairable within CRG. For this reason, we commend not using virtual copies in galleries. If you must publish versions of images, then you would do well to export images, re-import them as actual files with set names, and then publish your galleries.
