Remote picture upload

Can photos be remotely uploaded to a pre-configured gallery and pricing scheme?
Example: I would like to post my photos to a gallery via a backlight web link. This is handy for shots where speed of photo availability is paramount

Re: Remote picture upload

currently, photos can only be uploaded via Lightroom.

But Matt and Ben have an alternative in the works: http://community.theturninggate.net/vie … hp?id=8134

Re: Remote picture upload

very interesting read, but what I was thinking of is Backilght hosting the upload. Backlight already has an online upload function, could this not be extended to include pre existing albums? I for one would deffinatly pay to have this function as an add on.

Re: Remote picture upload

Published albums and images, and the uploaded image function are two separate mechanisms that are not amenable to working together.

Re: Remote picture upload

To briefly follow up on Ben's comments, the intended purpose of the Upload Images feature is to add things like logos, favicons, background images, etc. to be used by page templates. So completely disconnected from albums.
