Updating from older versions

I know everyone **Should** update every time a new release come out but I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't. I'm upgrading from V1.2.1 to 1.2.5 (Backlight, Pages, Theater and Wordpress) and I haven't a clue which files to replace. The instructions in the blog only refer to upgrading from the last version.
As I don't want to start again I'm going to follow those instructions and hope for the best but a bit more info would be helpful, even a tag cloud on the blog so that "updates" could be selected and grouped for easy reading would be useful.

Re: Updating from older versions

Hi Paul, the readme.txt file in the zip indicates how to upgrade from earlier versions.

Re: Updating from older versions

If you fall too far behind, you can always just replace the entire application with the latest. We have a document here explains how to do that without losing your settings.

Re: Updating from older versions

Dear Matthew,
I did what it says in the link you provided.
I kept
backlight\custom and backlight\data and changed all the rest.
If I want to go on my website gommit-foto.de the error message is:
Unable to load template: ./backlight/framework/../admin/application/views/templates/template_home.php
Can you help, please.
Thanks

Re: Updating from older versions

Is the file backlight/admin/application/views/templates/template_home.php on server?

Re: Updating from older versions

The template_home.php file is not meant to be there, and that error a red herring.

Gommit, if you had removed the standard-* modules during the upgrade, then you'll need to re-upload them.  They can be found in this post: http://community.theturninggate.net/vie … hp?id=7769

I've updated the wiki page to include a note about and the link to the Okapi thread. An annoying oversight on my part not to have included that in the first place.
