Re: Error when using the Search button

In Backlight > Publisher > Settings, you need to assign a new Search Template.

Re: Error when using the Search button

Thanks Daniel - That did cause the search behaviour to work... sort of!
For eg. It will find 'Celebrations' successfully, but if I search for a Private Gallery album set, it points to the Portfolio sets.
Ie Brandon & Julie is not found correctly. Any clue why not?

Re: Error when using the Search button

private galleries do not appear in search results. This is because search results are public. If you've made a gallery private, then you wouldn't want images in that album appearing in the search results for someone not authorized to view the album.

Re: Error when using the Search button

The Private Gallery page is not protected, only the albums within it. The names of the albums appear on the thumbnail, so why wouldn't the search function find them? I understand not searching within a password protected gallery.

But if a bride is looking for her gallery, I guess she would know to go to the Private Gallery page.
Guess there's no real use for a search feature for us, unless we label all of the public photos with a meaningful name, like, 'fireworks on the lawn', or 'Father of the Bride crying' etc.

Re: Error when using the Search button

The search function also looks at captions and keywords, so you wouldn't necessarily need to give files meaningful names.
