Masthead colour inconsistent

Hi there,

My pages so far are all using the Backlight Standard Page template.  In that template I've set the Masthead background colour to red.

The peculiar thing is that the background colour is showing red on some pages but not others, eventhough they're all using the same template.  Any suggestions?  I've cleared out the cache, just incase it was doing something peculiar.

You can see it in action here :
http://www.deirdrelangan.com/TTG-TEST

Menu items 'Search' & 'Blog' are showing red, while 'About' & 'Contact' are showing black.  Galleries has never worked since installation. I guess this is a separate install issue?

Thanks in advance,
Deirdre

Does the galleries directory exist?

Re: Masthead colour inconsistent

all of your masthead backgrounds are red for me as well. Have you published an album to the galleries/ folder yet (and does the folder exist yet, as Daniel asked)? This needs to be done first for a Galleries page to be created

After the Galleries page has been created you can go to Backlight > Publisher > Top-level Galleries, click on the name of the galleries folder, and assign an autoindex template to the page if you need to.

Re: Masthead colour inconsistent

Hi there,

Apologies.  I didn't realise anyone had responded as I was expecting an email notification.

In the meantime I've upgraded to v 1.05.  I've set the masthead background colour back to black & added a new 'Blog' item to my menu. 'Blog' page is showing with black masthead but the others 'Contact', 'About' are still showing as red.

I'm working on Mac with Chrome browser.  When I loaded http://www.deirdrelangan.com/TTG-TEST into Firefox it works okay - all black.  I also tried it on my Windows laptop & it's showing with all mastheads black, which is correct.

I've tried new Chrome browser sessions on my Mac & still many menu tabs showing as red.  Is it a cache issue?

Re Galleries.  Yes directory exists with 777 permission.  No content yet but I was expecting a dir listing or similar & not a 403 Forbidden error. This doesn't bother me so much as I'll be creating galleries & will probably overcome it.

Many thanks, Deirdre
