Transfer existing Page to an other Domain

Hi,

i got 2 different Domains. Now i would like to overwrite Domain 2 over Domain 1.
How is the best workflow for that.
I use CE4 Pages/Gallery/Publisher.

I guess i first must delete the gallery Pic in the Publisher instances and than the hole Page via FTP?
Right?

Have a nice Day
Fred

Re: Transfer existing Page to an other Domain

You don't necessarily need to delete the Domain 1 albums before overwriting. You could simply delete everything via FTP and then delete the Domain 1 Publisher instance in Lightroom.
Then copy everything from Domain 2 to Domain 1 via ftp (including your ttg-be/ folder) and change the Publisher API URL to reflect the new location.

If you're using phplugins for navigation, custom css, etc., you'll need to change the Path to phplugins in Pages and all your Publisher templates, re-export, and re-upload.
And if the Site Root (Site Info > Website > Site Root) is anything but a forward slash (/), then you'll also need to change that in Pages and all your Publisher template to reflect the new domain. Re-export and re-upload.

(You might want to test this first using a sub-domain)
