Cart / digital images / Size & Quality

Hi,

I want to sell photos download.
It takes a quality .jpg 100% to print and can be given that 84%? I understand for the screen, but not sold on a file for printing.

Then the size.
Lightroom to the "widest edge" which is very simple and convenient.
Can I sell files of different sizes?
The idea is to remove my (fuking) microstock accounts and sell itself.

Re: Cart / digital images / Size & Quality

You're right. That should be 100%.

As for size, we need a number. If you're unhappy with the number, then what number would you like?

Re: Cart / digital images / Size & Quality

Now i have the size 8688 x 5792 px with 300 dpi.
And if I want to offer several sizes of the same file. With different prices?
Possible or next update? I am not in a hurry

Thx Matthew

See this: http://ttg-tips-and-tricks.barbeephoto. … -ttg-cart/
It applies to CE3 and CE4 Cart, and I've not tested it yet with Backlight, but give it a try.
Obviously, the sections about the gallery Lightroom plugin doesn't apply.

Re: Cart / digital images / Size & Quality

I will increase the slider ranges for image size and quality of Photos for Purchase for our next update. As to supporting multiple sizes, Ben may have an opinion to offer, but at this time we have no such plans.

Re: Cart / digital images / Size & Quality

Hi Dom, have you had a look at this page? http://backlight.theturninggate.net/doc … _purchases
Cart supports multiple sizes for digital purchase, however all but the default photos-for-purchase need to be manually updated.
The Offline Digital Purchases option provides a way for you to only create the needed files after purchase has been made.

Re: Cart / digital images / Size & Quality

Thank you for your answers guys!

Put the files provided after purchase is not very convenient.
I will define one size it will be easier this time.
Increase the quality and size will already be great for everyone. The problem
different size maybe only interests me .. I can do without it ...

Re: Cart / digital images / Size & Quality

I also think that different sizes would be a good option. Then, how does one define the actual hi-res images in the data base since the needed download is in the folder "photos-for-purchase"?
Just my two since (cents).

Re: Cart / digital images / Size & Quality

4.0.1 is a Cart update.  Image updates come via Publisher which is part of Backlight.

Re: Cart / digital images / Size & Quality

Yes. I'll see whether we can update these setting law ranges before Backlight 1.0.4.
