Old, old site converted to Backlight

Way back when, I created a site to support a book I wrote. The site was created with TTG CE2 (yes CE2!) plug-ins. Frankly, I think I'm the only one who visits the site.
I thought it would be a good exercise to try to mimic that site with Backlight.

I came pretty close, and it was very easy to do. The old site had gradients in the menu bar, the galleries in autoindexes, and in gallery thumbnails. I didn't bother doing that for the updated site.
I still need to do some things, like reformat some text on one page and put it in a Responsive Grid.
