bug in rotating screen in iOS with slide in menu

the slide in menu correctly displays on the iPhone in portrait mode and works correctly. however, if you bring up the website, then rotate the phone to landscape, the menu button no longer works.  reloading the site in landscape makes it work correctly.  (oddly, loading in landscape and rotating to portrait is fine).

Works perfectly on my iPhone 6s. What model iPhone and iOS version are you using?

I'm using iOS 9.3.1
Works in Safari as well as Firefox and Chrome for iOS
Have you tried other browsers or clearing Safari's cache?
