Password protected - Hi-res download?

Has anyone tried using the (CE4 Client Response Gallery) as a password protected Hi-Res delivery option?
I would like to send my clients a one-click .zip package download instead of them having to download individual images
at a time.
I was able to get the link to work for the zip package the the issue I'm having is the PHP is somehow stalling
or interfering with the download process. I think it has something to do with the file size being too large. My test was with a .zip file at around 900MB.

Appreciate any help!
Dan

Are you just posting a link to the zip file? That should work just fine unless your host limits file downloads from your site.

Re: Password protected - Hi-res download?

Hi Rod,
Thanks for the response.
Yes, I would like to email the client a link and they can take it from there.

When I do a test from Safari web browser it will start the download but then if I check progress it says decompression failed?
I did a test from Google Chrome and it just gave me an error page without any download initiation.
If the file size was under lets say 200MB or so then

I just get a file not found error.

You might be hitting php download limits. You can check your php.ini file or ask you host about it.

You could also try just placing the zip file in the same folder as the gallery and provide a direct text link to it.

How are you doing this now?
