I don't receive order information email

Hello,
I'm configuring the TTG BE settings and test the emails referring to the order process and contact page. With the settings made:
- I receive emails from customers sent by the contact form - OK
- the customer receives an order confirmation email when the order is placed - OK
- the customer receives a "new order arrived" information email when order is placed - I wonder if this is necessary and right?
- I expect to receive a "new order arrived" information email when order is placed, but I don't get one! - NOT ok
(tested in demo mode -> is this the reason??)

I tried different settings, but all of them only made it worse... so I think my settings are ok. Mail sent type is "mail" (smtp doesn't work at all).

Does anyone has an idea why I don't receive order information? (the mail adresses are written correctly)

Hi Wolfgang, do you have the cart's Demo Mode set to 'yes'?  If so, that would result in the vendor emails being sent to the client.
You can find that in the Miscellaneous section of the Cart Settings.
