I can't seen to work out how to install the Page and Album template in the Galleries page, using the same templates as for the Home page
I'm sure its staring me in the face!

The Galleries page uses an album set template (which of course uses a page template). Just assign the album set you need.
Go to Publisher, click on the name of the top level gallery (Galleries). Click on Edit Properties. Change the template.
