Wordpress not working in Website

I cleared the cache and deleted the Blog page. Still did not fix the problem.

I guess my only option after spending a multitude of hours is to reinstall the original files and recreate the site, or put my old Photoshelter site back on line. I had hoped this would be a great alternative but I guess I am just not that astute to deal with the inner workings of Backlight. Rod, Thanks for the time you took to help me. lessons learned.

It is kind of difficult to follow what's going on since you mixed different issues in the same thread

For Wp, what is your home page setting (Wordpress > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings)?

x  Your latest posts
    A static page

For the URL issue, I would send your ftp login and backlight admin login to Ben so he can have a closer look.

I deleted the Wordpress app to see if that was causing the problem and it still was a problem. The reason there is more than one issue is that I thought it was a Wordpress problem then I found out it was something different. I guess I should have reposted it under a different topic.

Still, the menu on your blog is acting differently than it does on your site, which makes me think it could be a .htaccess issue. But Ben is the one who can figure that out so be sure to send him an email.
