First I should have titled this post "Image order - Pangolin album"
On this site pideja/gbc/vendetta the image are sorted by filename. I had to insert an image after having published the page. Alas, this new image (#7926) shows up as the first image rather than be at it's place between #7925 and #7927.
I re-published the entire content, in the correct order twice. I even manually deleted the images on the server and THEN re-published. I cleared the cache, of course.
Still no cigar!
What should I do?

In Publisher, I just changed the PHOTO ORDER to FILENAME...just now re-publishing but I think that should solve the problem.
UPDATE: that seems to have done it!
