Responsive view - mind blown!

Watching the blog on Mastheads: http://theturninggate.net/2017/11/16/ma … -masthead/
At about 1:33 Matt goes to something he calls Responsive View. This looks like a way to see how your site looks on different devices.
How is that done? I want it and need it!

Re: Responsive view - mind blown!

That's a feature available in the Development menu of Safari on the Mac. There are plugins available for Chrome that provide a similar feature.

Same with Firefox. Look for Developer Tools in the menus.

You can also just resize your browser window if you're lazy like me. ;-)

Re: Responsive view - mind blown!

For Chrome, you don't need plugins. It's an option in the developer tools. Though if the plugins make it easier to access, they might be preferable.

If you're looking for it in Chrome, though, Opt-Cmd-I to open the console pane, then you'll see two icons on the left, next to the "Element" tab. One of them is for the the devices toolbar/view.
