@Matt @Ben

Is there a possibility for a next release to set a radio button to enable:

- Auto Clear Template Cache after changing Album Template Settings -

?

Re: Clear Template Cache - a wish

Hi Rainer, we already have automatic clearing of parts or all of the cache depending on the action taken.  Where specifically are you changing settings that you'd like to clear the cache?  I'll check the code to see what action is taken at that point to clear the cache.

Re: Clear Template Cache - a wish

Are you saying that you're making manual changes to the files themselves rather than changes in the Backlight interface?
If so, I don't see how Backlight could "know" you've done this so that it could automatically trigger template cache clearing.

Re: Clear Template Cache - a wish

The only place I am aware of that cache refreshing is problematic is when editing an album that is embedded into a page, if viewing the page. If viewing the unembedded album at its "native" URL, then the album refreshes normally when making changes.
