Got a php error

Something went wrong

Unexpected error: syntax error, unexpected 's' (T_STRING) in 89-page-1.1.1-8-3-menu_5-83-content-1.1.1-5-5-admin.view.template on line 14

Please report error at http://community.theturninggate.net

Re: Got a php error

Do you happen to have an apostrophe in the Page Title section of the page template's Page Setup section?
If so either get rid of it or try escaping it by preceding it with a backward slash \

Re: Got a php error

Rod, My 'thank you" still stands, but I got rid of all ' (I think) and problem persists.
BTW - is it possible that your answer applies to CE4 rather than Backlight?

Re: Got a php error

No, I was answering about Backlight. Someone had a similar problem a couple weeks back.

Have you tried clearing browser cache as well as template cache?

can you post a link to a problem page?

Re: Got a php error

Hi Rod, Yes I did clear both caches. (I have been dealing with computers for last 40+ years :-))

The url is http://backlight.kark.ca and click on About. There is not much on the site as I just installed Backlight a week or so ago and just trying to learn.

Thanks for you help!

BTW - In the worst case - I can blow it all out and start fresh.

Re: Got a php error

is your About page using a different page template than the rest of your pages?

You could try starting over. Or, if you want to wait a bit for Ben to pop in and take a look, you could save a little time by emailing Backlight admin credential to him so he can do in and take a look.

Yes it was :-( and that was a problem - I played it with it for a while and left a ' there .... It is all cool now.
My apologies for troubling you!
