Vegas Full Screen Slide Show

Hi there, I have switched to a full screen Vegas slideshow for my site and it's almost working, but there is one thing (or maybe two) I can't figure out:

1. I have set the Image Scaling in the Album Setup to "fit". When I now change the size of the browsers viewport, the size of the image changes either fitting the height or the width, depending on the format of the viewport. All fine.
Now my question: When setting to a format that is different from the format of the image, I have either uncovered space above/below or left/right. The colour of that space is black - and I would like to change that colour. Neither can I find a setting in Backlight nor have my attempts to use the inspector to potentially apply that through Custom CSS led to any solution. I am kind of lost, so any advice would be much appreciated.

2. I have activated the tick-box to show the Caption for the shown images, which is there and shown at the bottom left hand side - I'd like to have that centered. Any help or hint how to achieve this would also be very welcome.

Re: Vegas Full Screen Slide Show

this will center the caption:

.vegas_caption {
  text-align:center; }

not sure about the background directly behind the images. For a full screen slideshow album, it looks like it's controlled in the page template settings.
But when it's embedded in a page, it seems to always be black.

For example, here is the same full screen slide show, set to "fit," in two places.

Here it's a stand-alone album with a non-black background: http://backlight-rb-test.barbeephoto.co … lide-show/

here's the same show embedded in a page. This page is using different non-black background. But you'll see the black "background" behind/around the images.

Might be some setting I'm missing here though....

Re: Vegas Full Screen Slide Show

Thanks Rod. Now that I know what to look for, I'll go back to the caption thing, just trying to learn, but thanks for the solution.

As far as the colour is concerned, I don't feel so bad anymore that I couldn't find it. Maybe someone else has got more ideas.

Re: Vegas Full Screen Slide Show

There's a bug that prevents the background being set properly when embedded into a page. We'll look into it.
