defining what information 'metadata 01 and 02' are using

Is it possible to define what metadata image properties are used in the two settings in the Thumbnail Presentation Designer?

Yes. By default Metadata 1 is {Title} and Metadata 2 is {Caption}.
You can change these. I don't think it's been documented yet for Backlight, but I imaging that the metadata tokens are the same as those for CE4 Publisher. I know that {Filename} works.

See the CE4 Publisher metadata docs: http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … ata_tokens

It's the same as CE4. I need to copy that document over to Backlight's wiki. I haven't done it yet because there's a formatting plugin I need to locate and install first.
