Changes within Pages

When I do some presentation changes in Pages, I don't want to upload all folders related to Pages, otherwise I loose the galleries folder with all albums and photos .
Is it then safe to upload all folders except galleries ?

Re: Changes within Pages

yep.

in fact, if you only make styling changes (fonts, colors, padding, etc) you could get away with only uploading the lib/css/ folder

If you only make changes to the page text blocks you can upload the corresponding html files from the fragments/ folders

You can even upload the galleries/ folder without worry as long as your FTP program is set to overwrite if files have changed or are newer. All existing indexes and galleries in the galleries/ folder will be fine. But to be on the ultra safe side, and since there's no need to upload the galleries folder anyway, why bother?

OK,
I mentioned folders, is it safe as well to upload files which are part of Pages , like contact.php , galleries.php , index.php , info.php , lib.phpmobile.php and services.php ?

Re: Changes within Pages

yes. In fact, if you've made any structural changes (moving the grid or block, masthead, etc.) you would need to upload these files.
and if you haven't made any changes, it still doesn't hurt to upload them again.
