Branding Login Page

Wondering if there is a way to brand the login page that clients see before they log in.  I'd like to have this page branded with my logo etc.  Is this possible?

Re: Branding Login Page

you can use a CRG as a template for the login page
ttg-be > CRG Settings > Personalization > template

Re: Branding Login Page

So you need CE4 Gallery to make this happen?  I don't have that.

Re: Branding Login Page

no. Use a CRG. In the CRG admin section you can choose whatever CRG you've uploaded to ttg-be/templates/gallery/ as the template for your client facing log in pages. For instance, here's mine

Re: Branding Login Page

I'm tempted to just use yours. smile  Do I have to put the login fields in or is that generated automatically?

Re: Branding Login Page

that's all generated automatically.
If you don't use one of your own templates, the crg-default template is used, which is what you've had. Just choose the same template you'd be using for Publisher.

Re: Branding Login Page

OK, so i'm not exactly sure where to put the template.  I thought i'd just use the same template i used for the CRG, but i don't know where to put it.  Under the i (information button) in the CRG BE it says to upload into a new directory under cart/templates/  Since that didn't exist on my server, i created it and put the template i used for CRG in it, but nothing pops up in the drop down menu in BE.

Re: Branding Login Page

just export a CRG (or use one you've already exported) and upload the entire exported gallery to ttg-be/templates/gallery/
(when you name it, use only letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens. No spaces or special characters)

Then in the CRG admin area pick that exported gallery/template.

the tooltip in my CRG Settings area has the correct instructions for uploading. Are you looking in the CRG Admin > CRG Settings page?

Re: Branding Login Page

Thanks for not writing, "This might be a stupid question" this time.  I was looking in the wrong area.  Stupid, stupid, stupid.  It's up and working...thanks.

One other question, when i was creating my CRG template i kept upping test pages.  I deleted the albums in lightroom and they are no longer on the server, however they are still appearing in the "assign album to client" section.  How can i get rid of them from that area?

Re: Branding Login Page

In my testing, once I delete a CRG album from Publisher in Lightroom, it no longer shows up in the assign albums list.

You may need to refresh the page or clear cache.

Re: Branding Login Page

I've refreshed, cleared cache, still showing three of the "test" albums as well as a duplicate of the same one.  Very strange.

Re: Branding Login Page

if that doesn't work, be sure to post a link to your site and enable guest access to ttg-be so Ben will have something to look at.

Re: Branding Login Page

He'll need admin access to ttg-be to access the database. Be sure to send him login credentials.

Re: Branding Login Page

When prompted to delete the album, did you click Delete or Leave on Service?  The latter will keep the albums on your server.

Thanks for the login.  Please provide the URL of your website.

Re: Branding Login Page

When i deleted the album, i selected delete.  As mentioned I can see that the albums are deleted from the server.  Also strange that there is a duplicate of the same album.

Re: Branding Login Page

Hi, I have moved aside the duplicate album.  For that album, had you attempted to use the Default Album that Publisher creates automatically?

Which album/s are you seeing that should no longer be there?

Re: Branding Login Page

No, i immediately deleted the default album.  I did repopulate a new album with the same name immediately after deleting the first one and repopulated it with the same pictures.

The deleted albums should be: "Katherine" and "Katherine Headshots Downloadable Photo Gallery"

Re: Branding Login Page

Do you want me to go ahead and remove those two galleries?

Something strange is going on here.  The duplicate album, Katherine, and Katherine Headshots galleries all have empty slugs in the database.  The only scenario I know of that should cause slugs to be empty is to attempt to use the Default Album.  Clearly this isn't the case here.

Are the files for Katherine and Katherine Headshots albums still on your server?  You should be able to check by looking under proofs/ within your FTP program.

The best way to look into this issue would be via FTP.  Can you setup FTP access for me and message me the details?

Re: Branding Login Page

Hi Ben, no they are not on my server.  That's the first thing i checked.  Yes, please remove them.  I'm assuming there's nothing I can do on my end.

Re: Branding Login Page

Though it's best to leave it to the professionals smile I'll remove those albums this evening. I suspect there is still an underlying issue in albums not being removed automatically in the database.

In the TTG-BE admin, in Client Response Gallery Settings, I chose my created CRG Template. Works fine.
Is it possible to place an Image and further text between the masthead and the login?
I thought that this would de achieved by using a CRG Template which has a page image and text in the color palette

Any suggestions?
