Will images be enlarged when image rendition is set to high?

Hi,
I was wondering if CE4:gallery will enlarge images when a to large output setting is defined in the image renditions page.
If yes, a switch disabling this behaviour would be nice.

Images are responsive and will size to available space.

Re: Will images be enlarged when image rendition is set to high?

I know this, but if my source image would be 640x480 and I set export size to 3000x3000 (maximum) will the image be rendered to a bigger size or will the small image remain?
In the Lightroom export dialogue there is aswitch called "do not enlarge images". I'm missing a switch like this under "Image renditions".

The Web module will never export images larger than their source files.
