I've always preferred minimalist and white design.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for Backlight 2, which is really good and more convenient than TTG Page.

When I look at the statistics of my site, I see that many pages viewed are for example :
http://f-comme-photo.fr/backlight/publi … /scripts/9
or http://f-comme-photo.fr/backlight/publi … et/style/6
There are still other pages viewed with « /backlight/publisher/gallery/javascript/scripts/ »
or « /backlight/publisher/gallery/stylesheet/style/ » in the URL
Is it normal ?

I resized the first image in the second row to the same ratio as the others. Now, everything is fine !

Hi Rod,
I use the Masonry Grid, the same I use for this gallery : http://test.f-comme-photo.fr/galleries/ … -urbaines/, here I don't have the problem. I'm publishing directly in Backlight, not through Lightroom. If I change the order of images, it's the same image that is different, not the last. When I republish all images, it's another image that has the problem, and it doesn't have to be the last one.

Hi,
In one of my gallery, the thumbnails have a strange behaviour : one of the images doesn't have the same size than the others. When i republish the album, it's another image that has a different size as the others. You can see it here : http://test.f-comme-photo.fr/galleries/03-Allumettes/. The last image has a hight more important than the others.

Hi,
This night, I tried again to open Backlight Modules and strange thing (happy thing) it works !
I managed to install Galleria Add-on.
And yet I haven't had any news from my host...
The problem really seems to be intermittent... it's incomprehensible.
I hope I'll be quiet for a while.

Hi Ben,
The host is OVH, but I never got an answer from them last time. I'm not sure they did anything.
Am I likely to have the same problem every time I want to update ?
And when I want to move from my test site to my real site, would I need to install Backlight again, or will I just have to drag the files from the test folder to the root folder ?

Yes I use the same email.
I log in Backlight 2, then in the admin menu I click on « Backlight Modules ».
After several minutes (2-3 minutes) I have the message SendOwl.
I can’t access the modules page.

I purchased Galleria Add-On and now, I have the same problem than in December when I purchased Backlight 2 ( http://community.theturninggate.net/vie … hp?id=9348 ) : The installer can’t connect to the server.
I log into Backlight admin
I visit Backlight Modules
After a long wait, I have this message « Your SendOwl Order ID and Email does not match a Backlight 2 Purchase. Please enter a valid Order ID and Email »
So I write the order ID (the number I received when I placed the Galleria Purchase) and my mail.
Message : The installer was unable to connect to the server: https://get.theturninggate.net/install/has_backlight/
I tried with the Order ID for my Backlight 2 purchase, I have the same message.
So, I will try and try again like last time for several days during 2 weeks and hope that finally one day it will work.
And I hope I don't get this problem every time I update

Hi,
Some french accents are replaced by a question mark.
Example : "passage piéton" replaced by "passage pi?ton"
you can see that on : http://test.f-comme-photo.fr/galleries/ … single.php
This title is written in the IPTC field.
Is it possible to do something ?

What is the difference between The Galleria Add-on and The Theater Add-on ?
When I go to the examples, I see the same examples ( http://theturninggate.net/galleries/01- … strations/ )
And a second question, will be able to do the same presentation than on the page that is currently visible : http://www.f-comme-photo.fr/galleries.php (made with CE4) ?

Anthony - I use this method on my home page. My home page is set up to insert an album. The album for this page uses a Galleria style template that can be set to run automatically. I also did it using a Theater template but like the look of Galleria better. These are add on modules that you would need to purchase if you have not already done so.
You only need one or the other - not both modules.

I would also like to set a slideshow on my home page (Backlight 2, at the moment it is under construction on a test site). If I have understood correctly I have to use a new module ?
Can I use the 2018 Grid Gallery Free ?
Or which one should I purchase ?
If I want to use the Theater add-on, where can i find it, I can't see it in the store http://theturninggate.net/lr-plugins/

Hi Ben,
I just tried to install Backlight again, and !!! surprise, the installation was successful ! And yet the host didn't answer my message !
I can't explain why all of a sudden it worked... No one did anything...
So I'll be able to work in the next few days.

Thank you Ben. I sent a new message to my host and I hope they will answer. Many people seem dissatisfied with the response time, about 15 days ! And sometimes the answer is not convincing.
As soon as I get an answer, I'll send it to you.
If some french people read this message, I'm interesting to know, those who installed Backlight 2, the name of their french host.
