Great, I will look into this in the next few weeks. Thanks.

#2 Re: Announcements & Information » Planned Backlight 3 Release in Next Year? » 2020-04-18 00:36:54

I do not believe I have made an upgrade since purchasing TTG Backlight version: 1.2.3. Well that is the version that is in my Dashboard. My Lightroom Plugin is TTG-CE3-CRG. I have not purchased Backlight 2 and now want to purchase Backlight 3 when it becomes available rather than upgrading the final Backlight 1 upgrade. Currently the Client Response platform I have has been working for me but I know there is room for improvements and details that will make areas of the design layout more simple for my clients to navigate. I am not a techie so any of the technical jargin goes over my head.

As I said the Client Response is currently working so my question is do I purchase Backlight 2 and upgrade to Backlight 3 when it comes out or wait for Backlight 3?

My other question is if I do wait for Backlight 3 to purchase, will the old links in Backlight 1 still be active and usable?

I think I added a part to the script to make it a secure website but I can not remember which part. If I remember correctly to was to add HTTP but I am not a 100% sure. That is why I was asking if anyone new which bit had been added in the script I copied and show in this forum.

I need to check if the Backlight Settings Advanced Settings are correct in my account.

How do I do this?

#9 Re: Backlight Support » Reseting a Published client select album » 2018-10-31 02:17:47

Hi Rod, no I am still no able to reopen or open new albums for feedback. What is Ben's email address so I can send him my Backlight Admin credentials and reference to this thread. When you say "reference this thread", do you mean the posts we have been sending about this issue?

#10 Re: Backlight Support » Reseting a Published client select album » 2018-10-22 21:45:50

This is very frustrating because I need to send the links to my clients knowing they are working properly!

#16 Re: Backlight Support » Reseting a Published client select album » 2018-10-19 04:43:35

What I don't understand is why this client select gallery is not refreshing itself to allow further selection.

This is the link http://www.kewphoto.com/galleries/18060 … sabastian/. Username:isavisbal@outlook.com Password: 20180609

I have tried all of that and are still having the same problem.

#18 Re: Backlight Support » Reseting a Published client select album » 2018-10-18 21:28:12

I am back with the problem of replenishing a client select gallery. My client closed the gallery album after making their selection. They would like to select more photos. I followed the procedure to reopen the gallery. When I check it and try to select an image it refuses to let me select an image and the banner shows saying the gallery is closed please consulte with the photographer! I tried closing and re-opening the gallery serval times, cleared the history of my web browser plus republished all the photos from Lightroom. The problem still persists.

What am I not doing correctly?

Please let me know when Ben can pass me some comments regarding my host blocking my IP address, thanks

#20 Re: Announcements & Information » Website being blocked and creating a secure website » 2018-10-04 03:51:28

Thanks for the tip.

I have managed to upload all 2029 photos split over 5 pages but now the web page stills gets blocked by the time I view the 2nd or 3rd page. This is also happening to other client select web pages I have created which used to work fine. Then after clearing the cache in my web browser I can not access the link at all with the web browser saying the web page is not available from my end. When I chat with the host the say they can view the page but my IP address has been blocked. It seems that now when I try to open any client select project I have created my web host is blocking me from viewing any more pages starting with my site www.kewphoto.com!
Here is just one of the links that gets blocked affecter I reach the 2nd page. http://www.kewphoto.com/galleries/18060 … sabastian/.

Do you get the same problem with this link?

#21 Re: Announcements & Information » Website being blocked and creating a secure website » 2018-10-04 01:30:06

Oops, now I have just been blocked again from accessing any of my links in Backlight at my kewphoto.com address! What would you suggest as a limit of photos to use for a group of pages for one client selection project?

#22 Re: Announcements & Information » Website being blocked and creating a secure website » 2018-10-04 01:26:48

Had a look at the link you suggested. Not being code literate it really does not make much sense to me. Is is something I can correct within my Backlight access?

I would like to bring to your attention that in the past 24 hours my web hosting company has blocked my IP address and not allowed me from accessing my website or any of the Backlight created web pages on my site www.kewphoto.com. The block lasts for a few hours but has been repeated after I have uploaded a large amount of photos for a client to access.

I create Client Select web pages for each client to select photos from their wedding. Each Client Select link can have between 1 to 3 pages with 500 photos per page allowing me to host from 1200 to 1800 photos. These are uploaded in one go direct from the plugin in Lightroom. Sometimes the upload stops and I have to re-establish the connection.

When I chatted to my web host they said "We've detected a large number of HTTP GET requests being sent in a short time period, which looks like an attempted denial of service attack."

Any tips to stop this from happening again?

My there question is I notice in the web browser that the website is not secure. My web host has suggested several times that I need to secure my site but I am not sure how to do this. Any tips to secure these client select web pages?

Sorry it gives me these three groups: All Images, Selected Images and Unrated. Which is the group of photos they want to use?
