Whats the difference between the two.  I am still using CE2 and ready to test a new build.

Rod, let me see if I have this right, for a sub-domain.  My domain is farbmanphotography.com.  I would go into the C-Panel or my FTP program(CuteFTP) and create a sub-domain within the Public_html folder.  I would set it up, for example, as http://testsite.farbmanphotography.com/backlight.  Would I have to register that new domain name?

Thanks Rod.  I'll give it a try.

I currently have my site set up using CE3.  Both the original CE3 folders and the BL folder reside in my Public_html folder.  I want to create a test site using BL and eventually migrate to BL.  However, I don't want my old site to go down.  Any help would be appreciated.
