Hi Victoria, I replied to your message several hours ago.  All I really asked for was for FTP access.  Please provide that via message, so that I can take a look at what's happening on your server.

Hello Ben,
I have not got your messages unfortunately. The problem is solved for me. I am using another solution.

Thanks
Victoria

Hi,

just a wild guess, did you changed the folder permissions after uploading? My ttg-be folder has the permission level 0755 (read-write-execute (Owner), read-execute (Group), read-execute (Other)).
In case you know how to check this with your FTP program you could try this until Ben figured out why it is not working.

@Matthew
Running Nginx and Apache does make sense if you want to use the speed of Nginx (serving static content like images, js, css) WITHOUT changing your website (Nginx can't deal with .htaccess as example). Nginx is only responsible for the static stuff, everything else will be handled by Apache. Nginx is working as a reverse proxy for the Apache.

Regards
Moritz

Hi Moritz,

yes, I have changed the permissions on 777 and I have tried another 100 things, spent days and nights, got unfortunately no support and had to find another solution.
Now my galerie is running and I can support my customers.

But thanks for you advices.
Kind regards,

What is  "websiten/ttg-be"?

Sorry, I got confused. The "websiten" folder is from the original thread; it would help if you'd open a new thread for your issue, rather than hijacking another user's thread from June.

The downloaded TTG BE zip file should be unzipped, and the resulting /ttg-be folder should be uploaded such that it can be reached at:

http://equus-language.com/ttg-be

When I try to access that address, I get an error:

502 Bad Gateway
nginx/1.6.3

... which says to me that you are not in compliance with our stated hosting requirements, which clearly state Apache server as being required; you're running on Nginx.

Previous, you said:

as a frontend Nginx
as a backend - Apache

Not sure what that's supposed to mean. If your host is saying that they do support Apache, then you will need to ask them about the 502 error.

Hello Matthew,
Look at this info please
https://TEMPUS.timeweb.ru/phpinfo.php

Can it clear smth?

Kind regards,
Victoria Shamraeva

Ben will likely need to take a look. He'll probably need FTP access
I suggest sending him an email referring to this thread and including FTP credentials
You can contact him from the links on his profile page: http://community.theturninggate.net/user/101/

Dera Rod,

Thank you, I whote Ben and have still no reply.

Not much of this conversation makes sense to me, and as you have nothing online to show us, there's very little we can do to make sense of it. Best I can gather, you should be installing TTG BE at:

/webseiten/ttg-be

Dear Matthew,

I am/was ready to show you everything you want, online and offline - just let me know, what exactly should I show you in order you begin to do something. What is  "websiten/ttg-be"?  My directory looks as follows
wordpress_4/public_html
The ttg-be is now directly in the public_html and it doesnot work.

For me makes no sense as well to pay money and after several days of pleading for help, still have nothing while I needed it very urgent because my cutomers were waiting. I really don't understand your attitude.

But anyway I cant afford to have business with such people as you, because it influences my business as well.

I am asking for the second time - how can I get my money back?

Regards,
Victoria

Wait for Matt to comment on Squarespace. Isn't Squarespace a website building platform? I don't know that it will be compatible with TTG
see: http://community.theturninggate.net/top … espacecom/

The story with Squarespace looks much more complicated as I have now. Yes, it is a website building plattform and they do not have any tradional upload for external files..

Hi Rod,
thanks for quick replies
So, I got the info from my hoster.
PHP 5.3
as a frontend Nginx
as a backend - Apache
The hoster supports SQlite and PDO (https://TEMPUS.timeweb.ru/phpinfo.php)

Please help me with my problem.

I have copied the folder ttg-be to the public_html and get the 502 Bad Gateway nginx/1.6.3 message.
Thanks
Victoria

I also tried with zipped folder ttg-be in the public_html.

I have no idea and I need the app very much :-)

the site is not a ttg based site, it's WordPress. Most hosts that can support WordPress should also be able to support TTG.

If your host reports that SQLite and PDO modules are enabled, then Ben will need to take a closer look, most likely needing FTP access.

Ahh I understand, I am going actually to move to squarespace in the nearest future, would it be then easier? If yes, I wil do it right now, because it is exreme urgent and important for me now.

Hi Robert,
probably you could share your experience with FTP? I do not have any subdomains, so it should be easier..
