Hi guys,

I am running Backlight 1 and when I try to send a message through the contact page it fails due to the fact that the submission form is calling the domain http://rutgerhollander.nl instead of https://rutgerhollander.nl

As I am pushing my users to https there has to be a way to change this to https...

Google Chrome Developer output: Mixed Content: The page at '<URL>' was loaded over a secure connection, but contains a form that targets an insecure endpoint '<URL>'. This endpoint should be made available over a secure connection.
(index):144

When I change the http to https in the google debugger, the form works and sends out the mail. I need to change this http to https!!!

Thanks in advance

Cheers,

Rutger

Rod,

We have managed to create the full screen landing page (gallery).
The button does also link to /galleries/ (I called it 'homepage' before), but I have decided that a 'traditional' home button is of no use and rather inappropriate for a photographer's website.

The next step is to set 'publisher' controlled galleries and/ or albums .

If you have suggestions or remarks, please let me know.

#4 Re: CE4 Gallery » Gallery not opening and error message in browser » 2015-07-11 06:37:58

Rod, thanks again for your extensive replies, you're very supportive!!

We (I am with 2 friends, 1 of which is quite experienced in web development) will now implement your proposal and I will let you know how things work out.

Fortunately there's enough coffee at hand, we'll need it.

#5 Re: CE4 Gallery » Gallery not opening and error message in browser » 2015-07-11 06:09:02

I would like to have the button in the landingspage directing to the current 'homepage'.
The page you see when you currently enter rutgerhollander.nl.

In short: the full screen gallery (=landing page) should preferably only be visible when you initially enter my page (or reload the page in browser).
Besides, I might of course publish similar galleries for different purposes 'within' my site.

#6 Re: CE4 Gallery » Gallery not opening and error message in browser » 2015-07-11 03:08:57

If I follow your suggestions, do you think the landing page 'welkompagina' would show up when someone enters my website, the button will direct to the homepage and the link to 'welkomspagina', which is currently there, wil dissapear?

#7 Re: CE4 Gallery » Gallery not opening and error message in browser » 2015-07-11 02:58:59

I should perhaps mention that I applied the change in autoindex.php which is described by Matt here:

http://community.theturninggate.net/post/2020/#p2020

Without it, the 'stage' gallery  (named 'welkomspagina') would not function. This is probably due to the server settings of my hosting company which appear to be similar to those of Godaddy in, at least, this respect.

#8 Re: CE4 Gallery » Gallery not opening and error message in browser » 2015-07-11 02:28:28

Rod,

Thank you for your replies.

Your thinking (as stated in your last reply) is right, but in your last sentence you mention a full page image. I guess you mean full page full screen- auto grid (from 'stage')?  I would like to have a number of full screen images that each appear  for a couple of seconds.

I will follow your suggestions and wil post afterwards.

Once again thank you!

Rutger

Hi Ben,

Thank you for your reply.

You are correct: I did upload a Stage Gallery, beacause I would like to have a full screen gallery appear as 'landing page'.
After publishing this Stage Gallery form LR the Stage 'full screen auto' automatically opens in the browser.
But the 'button' doesn't redirect to my 'homepage'.

If you enter rutgerhollander.nl, you'll see the 'welkomspagina' button (which doesn't work and I prefer it would not appear at all).

Searching the forum, I found this post:

http://community.theturninggate.net/post/23026/#p23026

Rajiv's website does exactly what Iam trying to achieve (though he uses the full screen flip grid-type).

Perhaps I could use the same fix as Rajiv has used from this post which is mentioned in the above post:

http://community.theturninggate.net/post/23026/#p23026
Changing the ht.access file manually when updating is not a big deal for me.

I hope you could advise me on this.

I'll send you my ftp-login information. Maybe you want to take a look?

#11 Re: CE4 Gallery » Gallery not opening and error message in browser » 2015-07-10 11:14:08

Hi Ben, Thank you for your time!

Yes indead, sorry, didn't hear anything and thought to try the whole installation again. Just for sure.
Now, hours laters, I have the same result while I now build a new one, totally following Matt on this link:

http://theturninggate.net/2014/07/the-p … home-page/

The result: After publishing my "welkom" site, Lightroom "automatticly"opened the album in my browser. Fullscreen Auto stage looked well but in the URL where 2 slashes(?)

After clicking on the "oke" button, I came at my (empty) page.

I became confused because of what I red. It had to do with the "Slug". I tried an album with the pages-gallery slug but did'nt work out. Thats why I uploaded my welkom page, again, extra, to my galleries directory.

Now, when I go to http://www.rutgerhollander.nl  I come directly on my almost empty page, but now there's the "welkom" gallery. I do not see my beautiful fullscreen welkom/landingspage anymore? But Only the album... And when I click on it, I got the same message I got yesterday:

Not Found
The requested URL /sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/galleries/welkom/ was not found on this server.

About your question: "Have you entered 'www.rutgerhollander.nl' as your site root, and accidentally omitted the 'http://' at the start?"
                No, I named it http://www.rutgerhollander.nl/

Sorry that I toke the site down yesterday. I'm trying for weeks or months now to get my site fixed.

Hope that you you can tell me where the broken link comes from? From where is it written?

Yesterday, It looked like this:

rutgerhollander.nl/sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/galleries

How is the double domain name possible? For me, it looks like a mistake at my domainhost? Or can it have something to do with the SSL certificate that I bought online yesterday.

Now I really need to go to sleep, it's 4.10 AM over here. Have a nice day and thank you so far.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards, Rutger

My problem is somewhat similar to this one: http://community.theturninggate.net/top … t-showing/

The cause of the error in the browser is (most likely) different.

These are the steps I have taken so far:

- With web engine 'pages' I have created an 'export' (Matt calls it a template in his video) to the root folder on the server.

- With web engine 'auto-index' I have created an 'export' and using FTP I placed this in ....ttg-be/templates/auto-index/

- With web engine 'gallery' I have created an 'export' and using FTP, which I put in ....ttg-be/templates/gallery/

- Within publisher I placed 1 image in an album I made (while 'publishing').

Up till now these are the results:

- The main websites seems to work

- Button 'portfolio'(=galleries) works

When trying to open the gallery from the homepage home>portfolio, an error is returned with reference to this address:

http://rutgerhollander.nl/sites/www.rut … album-set/

It is prossible to open the (1 image) gallery with a direct link: http://www.rutgerhollander.nl/galleries … /album-ww/

It may be relevant to mention I have received a SSL certificate for my domain. This certificate is applicable to the (main) domain only, so not to sub domains.

I hope someone knows how to fix this.

Best regards,

Rutger

Rod, I sure wil :-)

Thank you once again for your lighting fast replies.

#14 Re: CE4 Pages » CE4 installation on webserver » 2015-06-11 08:55:58

Earlier this evening, I sent them a message with a request to activate these modules.

Hopefully, I will receive a (positive) reply tomorrow.

#15 Re: CE4 Pages » CE4 installation on webserver » 2015-06-11 08:46:34

Thank you for your help so far.

It's already way past midnight over here, so I'd better get some sleep.

I hope Matt and/or Ben could comment on the Debian matter.

Tomorrow, I will give it another shot.

#16 Re: CE4 Pages » CE4 installation on webserver » 2015-06-11 08:29:21

Rod, thank you for your rapid response.
Because of your answer I understood what I had forgotten.

Actually, I have made 3 new examples  for you:

www.rutgerhollander.nl/rod

www.rutgerhollander.nl/rod_made_with_galleries

www.rutgerhollander.nl/rod_made_with_pages

However, I still can not access the admin panel.

I think my site is indeed running on a Debian server, see:
https://helpdesk.mijndomein.nl/hc/nl/ar … erl-versie

Would this have implications for CE4?

This is a follow up to my earlier question to be found here:

http://community.theturninggate.net/top … 4-working/

Due to a lack of time I have not yet been able to transfer my website to CE4, but I would like to switch now.
I did follow the setup and installation guide, but so far I have only managed to get an empty shell (www.rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site).

I guess this is related to the pdo, pdo_mysql and sql modules, which might be 'switched off'.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Ps. As I understand CE4 is a self hosting application, therefore I suppose the phpmyadmin panel of my host provider will not be used.

#18 Re: CE4 Pages » I don't understand how to get CE4 working. » 2015-01-28 04:19:46

Thank you for replying Rod.

I uploaded only the content from my exported page (out of the new made directory), not the directory itself, so that's not the problem.

In the post you send me, I read about pdo_sqlite. That doesn't say me anything but in the phpinfo of my site/host I found this:

PDO

PDO support    enabled
PDO drivers    mysql

pdo_mysql

PDO Driver for MySQL     =     enabled

Client API version    mysqlnd 5.0.8-dev - 20102224 - $Id: 731e5b87ba42146a687c29995d2dfd8b4e40b325 $

Directive                                    Local Value                                     Master Value
pdo_mysql.default_socket           /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock           /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

What I can found about "sqlite" is totally nothing.

You think that's the problem? Or does it have to work with one of those items? For me its really abacadabrah sad I'm just a stupid photographer wink

Hello,

I bought the TTG web publishing package but it doesn't work. I don't know what I did wrong. Tried it in different ways for a 30 times or so. Read the documents. Read a lot of forum topics. Tried it again and again but it still doesn't work. I hope somebody can help me trough.

I exported a page with CE4 Pages in LR. Uploaded it. Uploaded the TTB-BE directory into the same directory. And now this is what I get when I try to open the site (http://rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002/):

could not find driver|#0 /public/sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002/ttg-be/framework/dao/PdoExtended.php(49): PDO->__construct('sqlite:../frame...', NULL, NULL, Array) #1 /public/sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002/ttg-be/framework/dao/SQLiteHandler.php(11): PdoExtended->__construct('sqlite:../frame...', NULL, NULL, Array) #2 /public/sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002/ttg-be/framework/dao/DAOFactory.php(15): SQLiteHandler->__construct(Array) #3 /public/sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002/ttg-be/admin/application/helpers/ApplicationHelper.php(23): DAOFactory->getDBHandler() #4 /public/sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002/ttg-be/framework/helpers/GenericApplicationHelper.php(28): ApplicationHelper->createConfigManager() #5 /public/sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002/ttg-be/admin/application/init.php(9): GenericApplicationHelper->getConfigManager() #6 /public/sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002/ttg-be/framework/init.php(112): include_once('/public/sites/w...') #7 /public/sites/www.rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002/ttg-be/admin/index.php(17): require_once('/public/sites/w...') #8 {main}|URL: /ttg_site_002/ttg-be/admin/index.php

Than I looked up at my host and I found this:

https://helpdesk.mijndomein.nl/hc/nl/ar … erl-versie

And this:

http://phpinfo.mijndomeintje.com/

I think that what my host delivers, has to be "enough" to make it work??

When I made a small gallerie with CE4 Galleries, it worked well (rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site/). Now with Pages it doesn't (rutgerhollander.nl/ttg_site_002).

Again, I hope someone can help me!
