#1 Re: CE4 Gallery » Masonry Style very slow and thumbnail resolution very low » 2014-09-09 04:25:55

Hello Everyone,

I'm still not satisfied with the speed in Google Chrome. I reduced the image sizes and the JPEG Quality down to 69. I republished all my galleries (which took an awful lot of time!!!) and I reduced images per page down to 50.

It it better now....but still not great!

Another problem occurred on the way there. I have a Metadatabox with ISO, Shutter, Apature etc. underneath each image. Unfortunately some images don't show the metadata. Others do? What happened?

Thanks for your support! Cheers David

Ajusted everything according to your advice and uploaded a the new template.

Can't see any difference - anything else I can try?

Hello,

I set up my galleries with the new frewall masonry layouts.

Compared to the old CE3 Masonry Layouts the new galleries are very solw and the thumbnail resolution ist very low.

Here are two examples:

The slideshow when I enlarge one image from the grid

OK- got it fixed. Just have to adjust it to my liking. Thank you for your help!

Can I display the Metadata in the slideshow?

That's what I did in Davids Settings jsut renamed it...

OK, I understand.

I want to have this information placed underneath each image in the grid.

{CameraMake} {CameraModel} {Exposure} {Lens} @ {ISO}

I can put in the tokens into the publisher settings filed in field Metadata 1

http://farbrausch.eu/bild1.tiff

But what should I select under image information?

Now I can't see anything in the Lightroom Preview

I see the Metadata in the grid preview in lightroom - not in the large image

#11 Re: CE4 Gallery » Metadata not displayed in Gallery » 2014-07-25 05:00:53

yes of course.

I have set up my own metadata set called Davids Settings under image info and I included it under the output section {Davids Settings}

I can see the metadata in the lightroom preview!

Hey Rod,

I did enter the tokens in the publisher settings the first time. Just to make sure I double checked everything, exported the template and uploaded it. I republished the images with the suggested publisher setting.

Sadly nothing changed.

HI,

I have set up to publish the metadata in my galleries underneath each image in the grid. After exporting the gallery via publisher no metadata is displayed.

What did I do wrong?

Can I enlarge the metadata box which is beneath the image to show more metadata?
