#1 Re: CE4 Cart » No download option » 2015-05-05 03:41:07

I just did a test using the old Image Do template and it seems to work so i must be missing something on the newer template. Ill have to scrutinize and see exactly what it is. Ill post back what i find.

Thank you for all your help. It really means a lot to me that you take the time to troubleshoot my mistakes.

Technically the are the exact same templates. I actually created the ImgDL one because if this same issue before. Making a new template sorted it out last time but it isn't cooperating this time. Ill try and create an album using the old template and see what happens.

Rod,

I didn't republish all the images, there are 700 so I was trying to avoid it. I'll go ahead and do it now, probably just delete the site and start from scratch uploading maybe 5 images to start. As far as the text goes I didn't notice that. I'll fix it later seeing as my gallery page background is black with white font. Primary concern at the moment is getting clients their pictures. Thank you for point it out though, I probably would have never noticed.

I'll check back after I've uploaded everything.

Ben,

It wasn't checked, which I find odd since I've been using the same template for quite some time now and haven't seen any issues until maybe a month ago. However, I rechecked the box, reuploaded the template and republished it, cleared my cache, reset my browser and I'm still not getting the option to download a digital copy.

Rod,

Yes I want the image downloads for sale, helps me keep track of who is and isn't grabbing images from me.

I updated publisher and gallery then redid the gallery template, reuploaded it then republished the website. Still getting the same results.

Every so often I loose my download option when adding photos to the cart. It's set to the right pricing scheme and digital download is part of the scheme. I don't get it, I've tried reuploading the template and changing it to a different theme and republishing but nothing seems to work.

Thanks Rod. Oddly enough I figured that out about 3 seconds before reading your reply.

I've created a new template adding some verbiage in the "Content/Description - Page Copy (md)" section of Gallery in lightroom. When I preview it in the browser it shows up fine. When I look at the index of the exported template it shows up fine. When I upload it to the template folder on my website and view it it shows up fine (contrastimages.net/ttg-be/templates/gallery/ImgDL/)

However when I go to create a new album in publisher and use said template it doesn't seem to work. The content that I added that you can see in the above link isn't showing in the published page. contrastimages.net/galleries/photobomb

I've tried clearing my cache, using a different computer/browser etc...

I'm at a loss...any help would be greatly appreciated

Can someone please direct me where the personalisation page is in the cart? In CE3 it was edit settings and this allowed you put in your site email and vendor email. That is what I'm looking for. When customers are placing orders I'm not receiving any email notifications. I've looked through all the documentation and can't seem to find where it was moved to. The only option I'm getting currently is cart template...

Thanks in advance.

Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction on which settings will adjust the below screenshots? It's part of the cart when I'm checking out or downloading digital images. I'm assuming the same setting will change both but I can't find any documentation. I need the top header to be readable as well as the alternating rows for each image. Thank you in advance.

Awesome, thank you. Just FYI, I hadn't updated the gallery. After I did is when it started to work. I warned you that it was going to be a stupid mistake.

#15 Re: CE4 Cart » Losing my mind » 2014-08-24 04:22:31

Ok I got the cart button to actually work but now I just get an error that says something went wrong...any suggestions?

Indeed it is checked with the "Print_Pricing" profile

#17 Re: CE4 Cart » Losing my mind » 2014-08-24 03:52:53

I did integrate it in the album setup. Maybe I did it incorrectly or something...

My PHP is 5.2.17

It worked back in CE3. This is the first time I've tried using it since I made the transition.

First off I'm a novice. That being said I apologize in advance for whatever menial problem I'm about to present. I'm sure it's a simple fix but I'm losing my mind trying to figure it out. I just updated the cart, publisher and the BE. I created a template for both publisher and the cart. I can get publisher to load a page but I can't for the life of me figure out why my cart won't work. I have the little cart button but it doesn't respond. Any help would be appreciated
