#1 CE4 Client Response Gallery » Images in album refuse to update » 2019-11-25 05:32:34

I’ve marked to republish, deleted the album and re-created it, but the images stubbornly refuse to update and reflect the changes in Lightroom!

I’ve cleared the browser cache three or four times. And tried a different browser.

I installed LR/Mogrify 5.10

I don't understand what's going on!

Hi Rod,

Yes, there's a redirect to the WP site installed in the /work folder.

#4 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Upgrading CE4 CRG to Backlight 2 CRG » 2019-07-19 03:23:20

Hi Rod,

My website is WP, but it loads from a subdomain folder 'work'.

CRG CE4 galleries are in the 'client' folder.

https://res.cloudinary.com/dldbdzsls/im … enshot.jpg

On my main WP website I have a client login menu link to the CRG login page - www.mydomain.com/ttg-be/crg/

#5 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Upgrading CE4 CRG to Backlight 2 CRG » 2019-07-19 02:17:37

Hi Rod,

So I upload just the Backlight folder into public_HTML.

There's already an existing .htaccess file in the public_HTML folder, but no index.php file. I upload neither of them?

After that I run the installer in the backlight folder?

#6 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Upgrading CE4 CRG to Backlight 2 CRG » 2019-07-19 01:42:03

Hi Rod,

The CE4 CRG login is accessed by a link from the WP site.

www.mydomain.com/ttg-be/crg/

They're separate. I designed the CRG login page and galleries pages to look the same as the main WP site.

I just need to move all CRG albums and client login details from CE4 to Backlight.

Can the gallery page template I designed to look like the main WP site be moved across to Backlight too?

Re: Upgrading from CE4 to Backlight 2
To upgrade from CE4 to Backlight:

When it says “Unzip the Backlight 2 installer into a CE4 site, including:” into which folder do I put the files and folders? I only use CE4 CRG.

Thanks.

#8 Re: Backlight 2 Support » WP Theme and CRG on Backlight 2 » 2019-07-18 21:48:45

Thanks Rod, with CE4 CRG I got something very close to my WP web page design. Can the CRG template from CE4 be used in Backlight?

Could someone let me know if WP Theme works with Backlight 2 CRG?

My WP theme is OShine. Will the WP Theme plugin integrate CRG to look like my Oshine template?

Don't want to buy WP Theme and find it doesn't work with Oshine and Backlight 2 CRG.

#10 CE4 Client Response Gallery » Moving CRG (albums and everything) to new host » 2019-03-11 10:49:26

Hi,

Can someone recommend how to move my album sets and albums (CRG CE4) to a new web host, please? I may use a different domain name for the migrated CE4 CRG (or I may change  the DNS settings to point to the new host).

Thanks,

Robert.

#11 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Unable to perform action: uploadRendition » 2018-10-02 19:37:06

I don't know how the file path got changed.

Can't remember, how does the temp folder get set?

#12 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Unable to perform action: uploadRendition » 2018-10-02 18:11:35

In phpAdminLite, or eleswhere, how do I change the php.ini path from /usr/local/lib/php.ini to public_html/php.ini ?

What I don't understand is how the path got changed to /usr/local/lib/php.ini in the first place.

#13 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Unable to perform action: uploadRendition » 2018-10-02 17:52:44

In fact, not sorted, Still getting the same error message.

Anyone? Really need to get this gallery uploaded.

The php.ini referenced under View PHP Info (TTG BE) is located at

/usr/local/lib/php.ini

but the php.ini file with the temp directory path is in the public_html folder.

#14 Re: CE4 Client Response Gallery » Unable to perform action: uploadRendition » 2018-10-02 17:48:18

Sorted, the php.ini file (within which is the upload_tmp_dir path) got deleted from my public_html folder

Urgently need to create and upload a selection gallery. I suddenly get this error:

Can’t update this collection.
Unable to perform action: uploadRendition
Message: Missing a temporary folder.

Any ideas?

Thanks. Are there any screenshots of available Backlight mobile menu styles?

Thanks Rod.

How fine are the controls to position the top nav menu in Backlight?

I'm still using the CE4 CRG, but am thinking of upgrading to Backlight.

I already have a new Wordpress site and theme I've tweaked up and running.

I have a Client login link in the top menu that opens the CRG CE4 client login page and galleries in a new tab.

I'm just wondering if it's possible to have the client login page and subsequent galleries open inside the Wordpress page, so I don't have to try and match the style of the top nav menu of the Backlight client login and gallery pages to the existing top nav menu of the Wordpress theme/site?

Thanks.

Best,

Rob.

#20 Re: CE4 Publisher » Duplicate album set found » 2018-07-12 01:19:54

Deleted from within Publisher, but I still couldn't add it again. I deleted it from the database. Fixed now.

Thanks Rod.

Hi,

I created an Album Set, deleted it, then tried to add it again.

But then I get the message about

Duplicate album set found

A number is appended to the slug.

How do I fix this?

Thanks.

Hi,

Does anyone know the simplest and easiest way to get a Comodo secure site seal to float bottom right in all CRG CE4 front-end (seen by client) pages?

I'm guessing the answer might be use PHPPlugins and CSS, but that's not easy or simple I think.

Thanks.

Thanks Ben. Am still using CE4, not Backlight.
