#1 Re: Backlight 2 Support » Galleria Slideshow on Home page » 2018-11-20 05:19:00

Thanks Rod - that was it.  I had to specifically mark images for republishing, but after that the galleria images are the desired size.  Thanks for your assistance.

Rod - Image Renditions in the Galleria Template is just where I would expect that to be controlled, and there I have Photos Width / Height set to 1920 / 1080, so I am at a loss to determine where the 960px width is coming from.

Regarding the Full Screen option not working in a mobile display, I have discovered that it works fine in Chrome and Safari on an iPhone, but not in Android Chrome, so I have some more research to do there.

Thanks Rob - I am just not seeing where to set that.  The regular gallery template has a Gallery Max-with setting in the Thumbnail Grid settings (set to 2560), but the Galleria template does not seem to have the equivalent setting. Also, I have just noticed on a mobile site tapping the full screen icon has no effect.  Not sure if that is related.

I have a Galleria based slideshow on my home page.  It is working but if I click the Full screen option, the image in the show does not get expanded as it does in my normal galleries.  I am sure there is a setting that I am missing in my Galleria template but I cannot see it.  Any help would be appreciated.

#5 Re: CE4 Gallery » Icon Spacing in Large Image display » 2014-11-01 00:24:18

Thanks for the tips Rod, Matt.

I will take a look at the Magnific presentation.  I also wondered about the possibility of controlling the order such that the GPS icon appeared on the first line in favor of shifting the permalink icon.  That might not suit everyone's purposes but might be better for me.

Hi - Having recently shifted my galleries to CE4, I have observed that the Icons in the Large image display using Touch for my gallery are spaced out so much that the GPS icon is shifted into a "second line".  This necessitates two clicks to initiate the GPS display in Google Maps.

Is there a way to control the spacing so that all icons appear on the same line?

Thanks,
Jim

#7 Re: CE4 Publisher » Publisher upload error » 2014-10-03 02:24:31

Ben was able to help me through getting the server database and Lightroom back in snyc.  The moral is to always let Publisher maintain directories and files in managed galleries.

Thanks Ben!

Hi Ben,  I did try to recreate the directories and republish, with no success.  I will send you a private message with some details for the TTG BE access.

Thanks,
Jim

I did accidentally delete the subdirectories via FTP.  The parent directory is http://www.jimsweeneyimages.com/galleri … ntimages/.  Right now the problem subdirectories do not exist, but others do.  Hope that helps Ben!

Hi – I accidentally deleted a couple of albums from my server, and now Publisher cannot republish them.  I am marking the album to republish, then clicking Publish Now, but I get a publisher error:  Unable to perform Action: uploadRendition. Message:  path was not found…..

I recreated the Slug directory on the server but had no luck. Can anybody help me understand how to republish my albums?

I just finished migrating from CE3 to CE4 with help from Rod and from David Dalziel.  I love the look the new plugins provide  and the speed that pages now load with.  I also added Facebook and Twitter links which I had stayed away from before.

Thanks,
Jim

#13 CE4 Publisher » Error Publishing AutoIndex Album Sets after Migration » 2014-09-22 08:11:22

hi - I just finished migrating to CE4 and ran into a minor issue after using the Migration tool to migrate existing CE3 publisher Album Sets and Albums.

The Albums migrated and published without issue, but all of the Album Sets encountered an error after publication:  "Unable to find .... SETUP.XML."  I had insured that the autoindex template was the same name in CE3 and CE4.

I corrected the issue by editing each Album Set in CE4 Publisher (level 213) and selecting the autoindex template, even though it was already selected and was the only choice.  I republished the Album Set and it displayed correctly on the web site.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Thanks, Jim

#14 Re: CE4 Pages » Using Paper Template in CE4 Pages » 2014-09-15 08:01:53

Update:  I downloaded the templates that Rod suggested and with some minor modification of the Gill Theme (thanks to David Dalziel for his advice and suggestions) I am where I want to be.  I'm now continuing my CE4 conversion setup.

Hi Rod,  No, I was not aware they were out there.  I will download them and take a look.

Thanks!

Hi,
I’m just starting to upgrade my site to the CE4 plugins, and I wondered if it was possible to get the effect of the Paper Template from CE3 in the new versions?  I’m trying to minimize the visual appearance changes during the upgrade but I’m not sure if the same settings are applicable or even appropriate.

Thanks,
Jim
